Second Luminary Lighting Set for Dec. 23
Thanks to all who lit luminaries on Dec. 16 despite the rain and wind! Obviously some neighborhoods were more successful than others, so we’re suggesting those who were unable to light their luminaries to try again this Sunday, December 23rd at 5:00pm. If for any reason you’re unable to participate that day, we encourage you to work out a date with your neighbors when you can all light your luminaries together.
While it certainly is disappointing that this year’s lighting was impeded by the weather, it’s important to remember that, even with a disjointed lighting night, the sentiment behind the project remains the same. We’re lighting the candles in memory of those who we’ve loved and lost, and in support of those facing difficult times.
Thank you for all who participated in this year's campaign!
