August 30, 2012 Family Centers Welcomes Preschoolers Back for Another School Year
Family Centers’ Early Care and Education (ECE) program kicked off the 2012-2013 school year today by welcoming 220 children back to its preschool sites in Greenwich.
While there were a few teary eyes (from kids and parents alike), most of the students seemed excited to play, learn and meet new friends.
Family Centers’ Early Care and Education program is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), which is largely considered the gold standard for preschool programs. Family Centers provides preschool services that are developmentally and socially rich for children between the ages of 6-weeks and five years.
With four sites in Greenwich – the Joan Melber Warburg Early Childhood Center, Arch Street Preschool, Gateway Preschool and First Steps at Armstrong Court – Family Centers offers quality early childhood education services for the community’s working families.
