New York Life Helps RITE Clients Become More Investment Savvy
In these uncertain economic times, it seems that everyone is trying to figure out how to protect the assets they have while searching for growth opportunities that ensure long-term financial health.
Representatives from New York Life recently spoke to clients enrolled in Family Centers' Reaching Independence Through Employment (RITE) program about how they can navigate these murky financial waters. Entitled "Blueprint for Financial Literacy", the presentation touched on the basics of investing and strategies on maintaining assets.
The presentation was free and open to all RITE program clients living in Greenwich and Stamford.
The RITE Program provides comprehensive career counseling and vocational training services. The program also offers participants regular educational enhancement opportunities, referral services, resume-writing and interview assistance, ESL/literacy classes and bilingual computer training. Since the RITE program began in 1996, it has helped thousands of people throughout Fairfield County improve their employability and achieve a greater sense of self-sufficiency.
