Family Centers to Honor Volunteers
In celebration of National Volunteer Week, Family Centers will host a Volunteer Recognition Breakfast on Thursday, April 7 from 8:30 – 10 a.m. The breakfast will be held at Family Centers’ 40 Arch Street Offices in Greenwich.
At the event, Jennifer Flatow, Family Centers’ Director of Community Engagement, will present several special awards to volunteers whose service strengthened Family Centers’ mission.
Greenwich First Selectman Peter Tesei will also present a special proclamation to honor Family Centers’ 125th anniversary and recognize the organization’s many generous volunteers for their hard work over the past year. With more than 3,000 volunteers lending their time and effort to its mission of empowering individuals, families and communities to reach their true potential, Family Centers owes much of its success to these dedicated individuals and families.
All Family Centers volunteers are welcome, and encouraged, to attend the breakfast. Please RSVP with Jennifer Flatow at 203-869-4848.
