Family Centers Appoints New Members to Board of Trustees
Greenwich, Conn. (Nov. 7, 2024) – Family Centers announced the appointments of Sherry Fields, MBA and Meredith Pyne, LMSW to its Board of Trustees at the organization’s 133rd Annual Meeting on November 4.
Sherry D. Fields, MBA, earned a B.A. from Stanford University and an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is currently the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Natural Radiant Life, an organic, vegan skincare brand. She’s also a CEO Mentor at Pinnacle Global Network, helping companies transition to “team-managed” organizations, giving CEOs and the C-Suite the ability to focus on larger company initiatives that allow for the growth and scaling of their business. Sherry received the Woman of Influence Award from the Nashville Business Journal and was recognized as one of 50 Most Influential Blacks in South Florida. She lives in Stamford, CT.
Meredith Pyne, LMSW recently earned her Masters in Social Work from NYU and currently works at Silver Hill Hospital in New Canaan as an outpatient clinician. During her social work program, Meredith interned with Family Centers in the Friendly Connections program as well as at Westchester Behavioral Health in their inpatient personality disorders unit. Prior to working in mental health, Meredith spent roughly a decade in investor relations and marketing roles at various hedge funds. She also worked as Head of Strategy and Business Development for an early-stage women's healthcare company, Extend Fertility, which aimed to expand accessibility and transparency around fertility healthcare. Meredith received a BA in Psychology and Economics from The University of Virginia and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Meredith and her husband, Jim, live in Greenwich with their two daughters and son. In her free time, she enjoys yoga and going on family hikes.
Family Centers is a private, nonprofit organization offering health, education and human service programs to children, adults and families in Fairfield County. More than 300 professionals and 500 trained volunteers work together to provide more than 26,000 residents with a holistic, wrap-around approach to care.
