Family Centers Health Care to Host Open House and Resource Fair
In commemoration of National Health Center Week, Family Centers Health Care will hold an Open House and Resource Fair on Saturday, Aug. 10 at its 111 Wilbur Peck Court location in Greenwich.
The event will run from 11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. and is open to the public. Complementary health and dental screenings will be provided by Family Centers Health Care staff. Free food, giveaways and door prizes will also be offered to all in attendance. In addition, representatives from other Family Centers programs, including The Den for Grieving Kids, Early Care and Education, Greenwich Parents as Teachers (GPAT) and Literacy Volunteers will be on hand.
Attendees can also learn how to enroll in health insurance, including Medicaid/HUSKY. Connecticut Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) assistance is also available.
Family Centers Health Care is a federally qualified health center offering primary health care, dental and mental health services to children and adults living in Greenwich Public Housing units, Section 8 housing and the surrounding neighborhoods. The clinic features three medical examination rooms and a full dental suite. Mental Health services are provided at Family Centers’ Greenwich and Stamford offices.
