Family Centers Co-Sponsors Screening of Mental Health Documentary with Actor Joe Pantoliano on May 13
Family Centers, along with the Avon Theatre and Stamford Public Schools, will host a screening of No Kidding! Me Too! – a documentary conceived and directed by Joe Pantoliano – on Tuesday, May 13 at 7:30 p.m. at the Avon Theatre in Stamford. NKM2 examines the discrimination bigotry and shame that shrouds the variable degrees of brain dis-ease.
Pantoliano, The New York Times best-selling author and Emmy-winning actor (The Soprano's ) has starred for film like "The Goonies", "Risky Business", "The Fugitive", "The Matrix" and Chris Nolan's "Memento". Pantoliano decided to make No Kidding! Me Too! in 2010 after being treated for clinical depression. Through candid, often humorous discussions Pantoliano and his family on their journey through his depression, as well as the compelling stories of five peoples different diagnoses and their eventual journey through recover. No Kidding! Me Too! breaks down the walls of shame and demands equal rights for the all-American brain.
