New Canaan Service League of Boys Awards Center for HOPE with $300 Donation
The New Canaan Service League of Boys (SLOBs) presented Family Centers with a $300 to benefit the Center for HOPE. Each year, the community-minded group allocates money in their budget for local charities, and selected the Center for HOPE as one of its beneficiaries.
The funds will be used to help support the Center for HOPE's bereavement and critical illness services for children, adults and families grieving the loss of a loved one or living with an illness.
SLOBs is a philanthropic organization of parents and sons committed to community service, leadership development and education. The organization, in additional to providing invaluable service to the community, works to strengthen the parent-son relationship through service and educational endeavors.
Family Centers has enjoyed a longstanding relationship with the SLOBs. Last winter, the group assisted the agency launch its popular "Hope Lights Lives" luminary campaign.
