Family Centers Evokes Spirit of Wonderland at Annual Benefit

GREENWICH, CONN. (June 5, 2024) – It was an enchanted evening in Wonderland on Saturday, June 1 as more than 350 guests followed their curiosity down the rabbit hole for Family Centers’ Through the Looking Glass benefit.
Drawing from the beloved Lewis Carroll book, co-chairs Claiborne Swanson Frank, Bri Hart, Sara Peters and Rachel Robison planned an evening filled with whimsy and discovery. Many thanks to our hosts, Nisha and Brian Hurst.
As guests stepped through a boxwood keyhole entrance, the sights and sounds of Wonderland unfolded before them. Many took in a game of croquet as they sipped Tweedle Dum Mezcalita’s, while others enjoyed the music of an acoustic guitar player. Half Full Brewing and Sono1420 distillery also offered beer and bourbon samplings.
Once seated in tent, the Connecticut Ballet treated guests to an exclusive performance of their recent interpretation of “Alice in Wonderland.” Following a dinner prepared by Marcia Selden Catering, guests danced the night away to the music of nationally touring band, Waller.
Through the Looking Glass was Family Centers’ largest fundraiser of the year, and raised more than $900,000 to support the agency’s network of health, education and human service programs that helps more than 24,000 Fairfield County children, families and adults realize their potential.
 Family Centers is a private, nonprofit organization offering health, education and human service programs to children, adults and families in Fairfield County. More than 280 professionals and 500 trained volunteers work together to provide more than 24,000 residents with a holistic, wrap-around approach to care. Family Centers is Joint Commission accredited in Ambulatory Health Care, Behavioral Health Care and Human Services.
