Titan Breakfast a Tremendous Success

On Tuesday, November 4, Family Centers welcomed Bloomberg Editor-in-Chief and best-selling author John Micklethwait as the latest speaker in its popular Titan Series. The event was held at Greenwich Country Club.
Micklethwait sat down with Bloomberg Chairman Peter Grauer for an engaging Election Day conversation that covered topics including the impact of the New York City mayoral election, national policy reform, tariffs, global markets and more.
The event was co-chaired by Laurie and Peter Grauer and raised more than $300,000 for Family Centers’ integrated network of health, education and human service programs.
Since 2009, Family Centers Titan Series has brought some of the world’s most renowned leaders to Fairfield County for intimate and thought-provoking discussions. Past Titan speakers include David Rubenstein, Walter Isaacson, Ken Langone, Meg Whitman, Henry Kissinger, Jane Fonda and more.
As Editor-in-Chief of Bloomberg, Micklethwait oversees editorial content across all Bloomberg platforms, including its news, newsletters, magazines, opinion, television, radio and digital properties, as well as its research services including Bloomberg Intelligence. Prior to joining Bloomberg in 2015, Micklethwait was the Editor-in-Chief of The Economist where he led the newspaper into the digital age while expanding its relationship and enhancing its reputation.
He is the co-author of seven books, most recently The Wake Up Call: Why the Pandemic Has Exposed the Weakness of the West, and How to Fix It. In 2010 Micklethwait was named Editors' Editor by the British Society of Magazine Editors.
