Family Centers Health Care

Family Centers Healthcare is a Federally Qualified Health Clinic (FQHC) located within the Wilbur Peck Court public housing community in Greenwich. Staffed by nurse practitioners, dentists, licensed social workers and other professionals, the clinic provides primary healthcare, dental and mental health services to those living in great Greenwich community.

Care to Care

Care to Care works to provide health services to licensed child care and early learning centers throughout lower Fairfield County.� The program is staffed by Nurse Consultants and is designed to enhance the quality of licensed child care facilities by meeting the requirements of the State of Connecticut Department of Public Health Statutes and Regulations.�

Center for HOPE

For more than 40 years, the Center for HOPE has been one of the area's most respected and trusted resources for bereavement and critical illness support. The Center for HOPE provides comprehensive services for adults and children living with an illness, grieving a loss or coping with a life-altering circumstances. All services are facilitated by licensed clinicians.

Counseling and Mental Health Services

Family Centers� Counseling and Mental Health Services help individuals, groups, couples and families resolve a wide range of personal, relationship and mental health issues. Our Wellness & Prevention services offer workshops and support groups mental health and parenting issues. Trauma Response services are also available.

The Den for Grieving Kids

The Den For Grieving Kids provides a safe, caring place for children, teens and families to explore their feelings about the loss of a parent, sibling, family member or loved one in order to begin the journey toward healing. Children and their families participate in age-specific groups led by professionals and trained volunteer facilitators. �The Den also offers support groups at area elementary, middle and high schools.

School Based Health Centers

School Based Health Centers are free-standing medical centers located within eight area high and middle schools. Staffed by licensed nurse practitioners, clinical social workers, dental professionals and a health educator, each health center provides on-site, confidential physical, dental and mental health services to students enrolled in Stamford Public Schools. A new health center opened at Greenwich High School in 2021.

Stamford CARES

Stamford CARES offers access to health and support services to those living with HIV/AIDS in the greater Stamford area. Chief among these services is the provision of Medical Case Management, Early Intervention Services, Support Services and Mental Health Counseling to ensure that all people with HIV/AIDS have access to life-saving medical care, medication and long-term maintenance services while in care.

Trauma Response

Our team of trauma response specialists can respond to a variety of emergencies to provide on-site counseling and crisis debriefing services to schools, organizations, businesses or community/civic groups. Examples of traumatic or crisis situations in which our trauma response team can help include suicide, homicide, employee or student deaths/accidents or workplace violence or terrorism.

WorkLife Solutions

WorkLife Solutions Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and Work-Life Services give employees confidential, 24-hour daily access to behavioral health professionals and community resources that help employees take care of their personal concerns so that they can reduce stress and focus on their work.
