Dear Family Centers Patients,
At Family Centers, we always want to make sure you have the best healthcare experience. That's why we are excited to let you know that on February 20, we will switch to a new electronic medical record system called Epic.
Epic allows our medical, dental and mental health care team to update and keep track of your health information – like your visits, tests and medications – in one online database. As a patient, you will also have access to this information on Epic’s easy-to-use app/website called MyChart.
What does this mean for you?
1. Faster Visits: With MyChart checking in for your appointments will be quicker. This means you can spend more time with your care team and less time waiting.
2. Better Communication: The new system makes it easier for us to talk to each other. This way, everyone involved in your care can share information faster and make sure you get the best possible attention.
3. Privacy and Security: We know how important your health information is. The new system includes extra security measures to keep your information safe and private.
More information will be coming soon, especially about accessing MyChart online or in the app. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to us at 203-869-4848. We want to make sure you feel comfortable and informed.

En Family Centers, siempre queremos asegurarnos de que usted tenga la mejor experiencia de atención médica. Por eso nos complace informarle que el 20 de Febrero cambiaremos a un nuevo sistema de registros médicos electrónicos llamado Epic.
Epic permite que nuestro equipo de atención médica, dental y de salud mental actualice y realice un seguimiento de su información de salud, como sus visitas, pruebas y medicamentos, en una base de datos en línea. Como paciente, también tendrá acceso a esta información en la aplicación/sitio web fácil de usar de Epic llamado MyChart.
¿Qué significa esto para usted?
1. Visitas más rápidas: con MyChart el registro de sus citas será más rápido. Esto significa que puede pasar más tiempo con su equipo de atención y menos tiempo esperando.
2. Mejor comunicación: El nuevo sistema hace que sea más fácil para nosotros hablar entre nosotros. De esta manera, todos los involucrados en su atención pueden compartir información más rápido y asegurarse de que usted reciba la mejor atención posible.
3. Privacidad y Seguridad: Sabemos lo importante que es su información de salud. El nuevo sistema incluye medidas de seguridad extra para mantener su información segura y privada.
