About Us
Family Centers School Based Health Centers (SBHC) are free-standing, federally qualified medical centers located in 8 middle and high schools in Stamford and Greenwich. SBHCs are open to all students where a clinic is located, regardless of income or health care coverage. SBHCs operate much like a small doctor's office does; our medical team works closely with the school nurse and is available during the school day to assist students with basic sick visits, physicals, immunizations, and more. We have Mental Health Clinicians to provide individual and/or group therapy to students, as well as to families who may be struggling with their child's behavior or mood. Our Westhill High School SBHC is staffed with a Dentist and Hygienist who are available to all Stamford Public School students.
